To honor the legacy of Ordie Lee Rimmer by empowering and supporting grandparents raising grandchildren through recognition, resources, and unwavering community care.
Our Story
The Ordie Lee Rimmer Foundation was born out of love, and out of one woman’s extraordinary faith and sacrifice. When tragedy struck her family, Ordie Lee Rimmer stepped up without hesitation to raise her grandchildren, working multiple jobs and pouring her life into their growth and future. Among them was our Executive Director, whose Godly character, charisma, and strength are a direct reflection of Ordie’s influence.
Though Ordie has gone to be with the Lord, her example lives on. Her story is not unique across the nation, grandparents are stepping into this role every day, often without the recognition, resources, or support they need. This foundation is our way of making sure they are never alone in their journey.

Though she has gone to be with the Lord, her love remains the foundation we stand on. Ordie’s life was a living example of faith, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Her hands worked tirelessly, her heart gave endlessly, and her spirit shone brightly.
The Ordie Lee Rimmer Foundation exists so her legacy will never fade, and so that the grandparents who follow in her footsteps will know they are seen, valued, and supported.
